Day 3 of a 5 Day Egg Fast


Ending my Day 3, 2 more to go. Feeling GREAT!


I started this egg fast as I heard several people inside one of the Carnivore groups I belong to talking about it. So many people had shared amazing results. One lady lost 11 lbs in 5 days.


I was intrigued to say the least. Horomones and no thyroid cause me to hit plateaus pretty easily so this seemed interesting and worth a go. Plus, I love eggs and thought it would be pretty easy.


Here I am on Day 3 and yes, it has been easy. The crazy thing is that eggs are so filling, especially with so much butter that I get full so fast. A surprising fact is that I have had no cravings and haven't been tempted to cheat at all.


Some of the great things about this that has helped me is that you can have a small amount of cheese and you can add fat. I usually start to feel hungry as I'm fixing my eggs so I'll grab a piece of string cheese to take off the edge. Also, I get a lot of fat in my coffee. Each morning my coffee includes a low carb protein powder (Keto//OS Pro) and creamer that contains MCT (Keto Kreme).


So breakfast is my Fat Protein Coffee and then I'm eating 3 to 4 eggs for lunch and dinner. Most of the time I'm just adding salt and pepper with the eggs and butter but I also have added salsa and I love "everything but the bagle seasoning".


Have fun and try cooking your eggs different ways and using different spices and sauces.


So far, I've lost 4 1/2 lbs and excited to see what happens at the end of my 5 days.
