🥚 I Completed the 5 Day Egg Fast! Here’s What Happened…

I DID IT! 🙌 I completed 5 full days of eating nothing but eggs, healthy fats, and electrolytes — and I’m walking away with so much more than a number on the scale.

Yes, I’m down 7.5 lbs, but what’s even more exciting is how I feel:

✨ Bloating — gone✨ Inflammation — significantly reduced✨ Achiness — no longer an issue✨ Energy — steady and strong✨ Confidence — back in my skin 💛

This reset gave me exactly what I was looking for: a clean break, a body and mind reboot, and a fresh starting point for my wellness journey.


🎯 What’s Next: My Game Plan Moving Forward

Now that I’ve completed the Egg Fast, I’m not going back to old habits. I’m moving forward with a plan that supports hormonal balance, mental clarity, and sustainable fat loss — especially as a woman over 40.


Here's what I’m focusing on next:

🧠 Cortisol-Conscious Fasting

Instead of skipping breakfast, I’ll be flipping my intermittent fasting schedule to reduce cortisol spikes and support hormone health:

✔️ I’ll stop eating by 4:00 PM

✔️ This supports deeper sleep, better digestion, and reduced stress on the body

Because stress is a major driver of weight gain for women over 40, I’m intentionally building in calming, grounding habits like:

🌞 Morning sunlight exposure (to regulate circadian rhythm + hormones)

🚶‍♀️ Daily walks (low-impact movement that calms the nervous system)

📓 Journaling (helps me stay clear, grounded, and present)

📵 No screens an hour before bed (hello, better sleep)

🔴 Red light therapy (for recovery, inflammation, and hormone support)

💧 Hydration + quality electrolytes to keep my body balanced

🥗 Staying Low-Carb & Listening Inward


I'll continue eating low-carb, nutrient-dense meals that keep my energy high and blood sugar stable. The biggest lesson from this reset? My body responds beautifully when I actually listen to it.

I don’t need to overthink it — just stay consistent, reduce stress, and stay hydrated. This is the vibe I’m taking forward.


💪 Prioritizing Muscle + Protein

I’ll also be shifting my focus to building and maintaining lean muscle — because muscle is metabolically protective and absolutely essential as we age.That means:

✔️ Prioritizing high-quality protein in every meal

✔️ Incorporating strength training & lifting weights consistently

✔️ Supporting recovery with electrolytes, rest, and good sleep

This phase is all about becoming strong, resilient, and energized — not just lighter.
